Monitor the progress of the CWPP.
A Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a collaboratively developed plan that identifies wildland fire hazards, prioritizes way to reduce those hazards and recommends measures for homeowners and communities to reduce ignitability of structures. The Diablo Fire Safe Council is working with local fire departments, homeowner groups and others to develop such a plan for Alameda County.
Visit the project website to use the on-line participation tool. This will allow you to easily review preliminary recommendations and share your concerns.
